I have a passion for all things environmentally-friendly and sustainable. When it was announced that the Zero Waste movement was a 2019 Creative Trend for Shutterstock, I jumped at the opportunity to produce content on the subject matter. Combine sustainability and another Creative Trend, Kawaii, and you’ve got the perfect combination of cute and eco-friendly. I designed each icon from pen and paper then animated each one in After Effects to be used in Social Media GIFs. While After Effects is new territory for me, I appreciated the challenge of adding movement to these cute icons.
